Red Wings roll through Blue Jackets in Game 2

Honestly, Ken Hitchcock needs to find a way to rally his troops, or this will be a short, short series. The Detroit Red Wings made their game 2 victory seem effortless, making Columbus look like an AHL squad in a 4-0 win.

Unlike game 1 the Red Wings got off to an early start with a power play goal from Brian Rafalski. Again the Wings always have a man in front of the net pestering Steve Mason. At the end of the 1st the Wings had a 1-0 lead.

The Second was a lot like the 1st game in which we completely dominated with goals from Pavel Datsyuk on a redirect and Henrik Zetterberg on a sick wrist shot. The game was well out of reach by the time we got goal number 4 from Jiri Hudler. The rest of the third period showed the Wings shut down the Jackets.

I realize that we have not played on the road yet, but this series seems to show why the Red Wings will repeat as champions, and if the next few seasons go the way i think they will, we're looking at a 4-peat minimum...maybe i shouldn't get ahead of myself.
